Our papers contribute analyses of the human impacts of technology, deliver deep insights into the latest innovations in interaction design, and reshape how we (as a broad and diverse research community) think about the technologies that influence people’s everyday lives.As such TOCHI is inherently multi-disciplinary, as well as inter-disciplinary, and we therefore welcome contributions that straddle or combine insights from multiple fields.TOCHI emphasizes important and broadly applicable results. The final goal is to provide a better understanding of both the beneficial and adverse effects of these treatments in order to supplement or improve existing methods of diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases in both Western and Oriental medicine.The journal will accept original basic or clinical research papers, worthwhile reviews on safe and effective therapeutic methods, applications, limitations, theories, or principles of acupuncture and electro-therapeutics, including electro-analgesia or any method of treatment through the application of various types of electric or electromagnetic field stimuli as well as electrical and nonelectrical diagnostic methods. The journal will also consider serious research on any related methods of treatment such as Shiastsu, moxibustion, herbal medicine, and standard and experiemental stages of Western medicine, with physiological and pharmacological studies. We accept clinical, experimental, and theoretical studies, particularly on the early diagnosis and safe and effective treatment of intractable medical problems, such as intractable pain, dystonia, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. In general, submitted papers must be based either on the documentation of data through scientifically proven or accepted methods, or on the explanation of new theories in the field with critical evaluation of such ideas. For example, papers may present data such as the effects of acupuncture on the cardiovascular or nervous systems using blood chemistry, hemodynamics, enzymes, and other biochemical or pathophysiological, Bi-Digital O-Ring Test, nerve conduction velocity, threshold stimulation for pain, somatosensory evoked potentials or any other electro-physiological method that is scientifically acceptable. Papers not dealing directly with acupuncture, electro-therapeutics, or the related methods of diagnosis or treatment mentioned above will also be considered if they have important implications for either improving diagnostic methods or treatment, or elucidating the underlying principles or the history or medicolegal aspects of these fields.

期刊简介：The aim of Advances in the Study of Behavior remains as it has been since the series began: to serve the increasing number of scientists who are engaged in the study of animal behavior by presenting their theoretical ideas and research to their colleagues and to those in neighboring fields. We hope that the series will continue its "contribution to the development of the field", as its intended role was phrased in the Preface to the first volume in 1965. Since that time, traditional areas of animal behavior have achieved new vigor by the links they have formed with related fields and by the closer relationship that now exists between those studying animal and human subjects.

期刊简介：The purpose of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is to provide a forum for the rapid publication of original articles dealing with techniques advancing the art of aesthetic plastic surgery. Although many of these articles will describe surgical craftsmanship per se others will deal with complications in surgical procedures and methods by which to treat or avoid them. "Second thoughts" about long established techniques, which should or might be abandoned, modified, or improved, as well as symposia devoted to the controversies arising from the use of one particular technique vs. another and the lessons to be learned from these dialogues will be included. Individual or isolated case histories, which may add to the specialty's increasing fund of knowledge and its advancement; improvements in surgical instruments, pharmaceuticals, and operating room equipment of use to the aesthetic plastic surgeon; and discussions of ancillary problems in aesthetic plastic surgery, such as the role of psychosocial factors in the doctor-patient and the patient-public interrelationships, are all to be presented. The role of preventive medicine and genetic counseling in averting some of the conditions that ultimately require aesthetic surgical correction, as well as certain factors that influence the patient's and surgeon's aesthetic judgement in relation to the overall appearance of a body feature, and the importance of physical anthropology in understanding the patient's ethnic requirements for a particular type of surgical procedure will be discussed. The history of the development and continuing growth of aesthetic plastic surgery and the attitudes of "society" and "the public" concerning the "justification" for the use of aesthetic plastic surgery will be dealt with. Perhaps most importantly, papers and reports are to be published discussing the increasing role of aesthetic plastic surgery as the final step in the overall rehabilitation of patients undergoing longstanding and tedious reconstructive surgery for the repair of congenital, acquired, accidental and neoplastic defects.

期刊简介：AGE is a quarterly, international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles related to research in the biology of aging and research on biomedical applications that impact aging. The scope of articles to be considered include evolutionary biology, biophysics, genetics, genomics, proteomics, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, endocrinology, immunology, physiology, pharmacology, neuroscience, and psychology. Articles concerning clinical studies will also be considered if the results relate to underlying biological mechanisms of aging. Such studies should reflect more than issues related to the care and treatment of geriatric patients. Papers concerned with social, economic, and political issues of aging will generally not be considered unless they relate directly to biomedical gerontology. In addition to manuscripts emerging from original research, the journal actively solicits research reviews of important topics in biomedical gerontology. Other types of manuscripts are also acceptable, such as commentaries, debates, and meeting reports.
