自1935年以来,《美国规划协会季刊》(JAPA)发表了对城市、郊区和农村地区的规划者、决策者、学者、学生和公民有用的研究、评论和书评。JAPA出版双盲同行评议、原创研究与分析。它希望为规划未来带来洞察力,传播各种观点,出版最高质量的作品,吸引读者。JAPA对在国内或全球范围内审查历史或当代规划经验(广义定义)的手稿感兴趣,并且该手稿至少具有以下功能之一:有助于规划的理论和概念基础;改善规划与成功实施政策之间的联系;推进规划实践和规划研究的方法;解释对规划很重要的经验关系;解释具有空间维度的值得注意的物理、经济和社会现象;或分析规划方法、过程和环境的重大后果。日本出版协会希望能够洞察未来规划,传播各种观点,只出版最高质量的研究,吸引读者。贾巴喜欢用活跃的声音生动而直接的写作。我们特别寻找及时提供重要研究新闻的论文。

Since 1935, the quarterly Journal of the American Planning Association ( JAPA ) has published research, commentaries, and book reviews useful to practicing planners, policymakers, scholars, students, and citizens of urban, suburban, and rural areas.JAPA publishes double-blind peer reviewed, original research and analysis. It aspires to bring insight to planning the future, to air a variety of perspectives, to publish the highest quality work, and to engage readers.JAPA is interested in manuscripts that examine historical or contemporary planning experience, broadly defined, in domestic or global contexts, and that do at least one of the following: contribute to the theoretical and conceptual foundation of planning; improve the link between planning and successful policy implementation; advance the methods used in planning practice and planning research; explain empirical relationships important to planning; interpret noteworthy physical, economic, and social phenomena that have spatial dimensions; or analyze significant consequences of planning approaches, processes, and contexts. JAPA aspires to bring insight to planning the future, to air a variety of perspectives, to publish only the highest quality research, and to engage readers. JAPA prefers vivid and direct writing in the active voice. We particularly seek timely papers that offer significant research news.
