《韩国金属与材料杂志》是韩国金属与材料研究所（KIM）的代表性韩文期刊，在国外从金属与材料到纳米材料、生物材料、功能材料、能源材料等领域发表了与金属与材料相关的国内外学术论文。以及新材料，其官方ISO名称是Korean J. Met. Mater.韩国金属与材料杂志成立于1963年，每年出版12次，1976年被称为金属杂志（ISSN 0454-627X），1977年至1999年被称为韩国金属杂志（ISSN 0253-3847），自2000年成为韩国金属和材料杂志（ISSN 1738-8228/eissn 2288-8241）。韩国金属与材料杂志自1998以来已在韩国国家研究基金会注册，自2007年1月起在斯高帕斯数据库和科学引文索引扩展(SCIE)下注册。

The Korean Journal of Metals and Materials is a representative Korean-language journal of the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials (KIM); it publishes domestic and foreign academic papers related to metals and materials, in abroad range of fields from metals and materials to nano-materials, biomaterials, functional materials, energy materials, and new materials, and its official ISO designation is Korean J. Met. Mater.Founded in 1963, the Korean Journal of Metals and Materials has been published twelve times annually, up to 1976 as the Journal of Metals (ISSN 0454-627X), from 1977 to 1999 as the Korean Journal of Metals (ISSN 0253-3847), and since 2000 as the Korean Journal of Metals and Materials (ISSN 1738-8228 / eISSN 2288-8241).The Korean Journal of Metals and Materials has been registered with the National Research Foundation of Korea since 1998 and with SciVerse Scopus and the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) since January 2007.
