社会生物学出版对昆虫学知识有重大贡献的文章，重点是社会性昆虫。以前提交给其他期刊的文章不被接受。社会生物学发表原创研究论文，并邀请评论文章，涉及社会昆虫和社会前昆虫(蚂蚁、白蚁、蜜蜂和黄蜂)的生物学、进化和系统学的所有方面。文章可以涵盖一系列的主题，如生态学、动物行为学、形态学、种群遗传学、生理学、毒理学、生殖学、社会生物学、种姓分化以及经济和害虫管理。短笔记也会出版，但我们更感兴趣的是涉及生物学、生态学、社会性、行为(欢迎任何实验成分)的手稿，而不是简单的笔记，例如描述物种发生的新记录。凡属描述性或非描述性及具本地特色的文章，概不接受。

英文简介

SOCIOBIOLOGY publishes articles that significantly contribute to the knowledge of Entomology, with emphasis on social insects. Articles previously submitted to other journals are not accepted. SOCIOBIOLOGY publishes original research papers and invited review articles on all aspects related to the biology, evolution and systematics of social and pre-social insects (Ants, Termites, Bees and Wasps). Articles may cover a range of subjects such as ecology, ethology, morphology, population genetics, physiology, toxicology, reproduction, sociobiology, caste differentiation as well as economic and pest management.Short notes are published as well, but we are more interested in manuscripts that address biology, ecology, sociality, behavior (any experimental component is welcome) rather than simplistic notes, for instance, description of new records of species occurrence.Articles which are only of descriptive or anedoctal kind and of local interest will not be accepted.
